Cooperation partner

We cooperate with many different partners to make school life colourful and varied.

School Gröninger Weg

For over 20 years, the elementary school in Buch (formerly Weimarer Weg) has been cooperating with the Gröninger Weg school (SBBZ with a focus on mental development).

At the moment, four classes from the Gröninger Weg school each have a classroom at the elementary school in the book. The cooperation takes place with a permanent partner class. In particular in the subjects, BSS, music, general studies and in art and craft lessons. Everyday school life itself enables a variety of encounters, such as joint celebrations, excursions and eating together in the canteen. This shared interaction creates added value for all pupils.

Robinson playground

To promote the social interaction of each class community, all our classes visit the Robinson playground at least once a year

The “Miteinander – Füreinander” project is funded by the Förderverein der Grundschule im Buch. Adventure and forest education activities such as river crossings, tower building, cooking together (vegetable soup and apple sauce) and various craft activities (soapstone, Ytong) are offered. Free play in the village and feeding and stroking the rabbits are not neglected either.

Learning and playing together – ZLS

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. during school hours, children at our school from the second grade onwards can take advantage of the “Learning and Playing Together” program. The project is carried out by youth leaders in the parish hall of St. John’s Catholic Church by prior arrangement.

We are a training school

Our school trains student teachers at every stage of their studies.
At the beginning of the degree programme, the orientation and introductory placement (OEP) involves students observing and carrying out their first teaching experiments.
Around ten years ago, the first students at the Ludwigsburg University of Education completed their integrated semester placement (ISP) as part of their teacher training programme at a primary school in Buch. This is the centrepiece of the practical school training. Since then, we have supervised up to eight students in two groups each semester. Each student is assigned to a class and is supervised by a teacher. While the prospective teachers gain a wide range of impressions and experiences, our pupils benefit from the opportunity to work in a small group and to have another contact person in the classroom.
Shortly before graduating, the students carry out a research project as part of their three-week professionalisation placement (PP).
The Heilbronn seminar regularly sends us trainee teachers who are completing their teacher training.
