Parent representatives – that’s how it works:


The parents’ council brings parents and the school together. It works for all matters of importance to the school in an advisory capacity.

Why should I do that?


  • Insight: You get an insight into school operations.

  • Co-creation: You have the chance to help shape school life.

  • Exchange: We provide information about help and support options in all situations.

  • Representation of interests: You represent the interests of parents and pupils vis-à-vis the school.

What is a parents’ council


  • All parent representatives and their deputies of a school together form the parents’ council.

  • The Parents’ Council represents the parents and legal guardians of the Pupils at a school. It has legally defined Rights and obligations.

  • The Parents’ Council brings parents and the school together. It is involved in an advisory capacity in all matters of importance to the school.
