School regulations


Many children and adults come together every day to live and learn at our school. To ensure that everyone feels comfortable, we observe the following rules:

1. General rules for being together


  • I help others.
  • I am considerate and polite.
  • I am honest.
  • I use ‘magic words’ (e.g. please, thank you, good morning, goodbye, sorry).
  • I solve my problems without violence.
  • I help to keep my school clean.
  • I come to class on time.
  • I do not annoy or insult others.
  • I treat people, animals, plants and things with love.

 

2. Behaviour in the school building


  • I am quiet so that other children are not disturbed while learning.
  • I always walk on the right on the stairs.
  • I hang coats, jackets and hats in the cloakroom.
  • I keep the toilets clean. They are neither a recreation room nor a playground.
  • I wait outside the front door in the morning until my class sign is green or until the teacher picks me up.

 

3. Behaviour in the school playground


  • I only play with softballs in the upper school playground.
  • I do not leave the school grounds without permission.
  • I do not disturb other children when playing.
  • I play in the school playground during the big break.
  • I do not enter green areas.
  • I do not take any objects onto the cli

 

4. Other


  • The use of digital devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.) is not permitted for pupils on the entire school grounds. When entering the school grounds, the devices must be switched off and stowed in the school bag. Exceptions can only be made by the school management or the respective teacher.
  • If the rules are violated, the teacher has the right to temporarily confiscate the device.
  • The device will be returned to the pupil or a parent/guardian as soon as possible. Parents will always be informed of any breach of the rules and regulations.I come to school without inline skates, scooters, skateboards or bicycles. (Exception: fourth-graders who have passed their cycling test).
    Weapons of any kind, metal spinning tops (beyblades), trading cards and valuables are prohibited.
  • Chewing gum is forbidden.

If you break the rules, you must expect consequences!

5. For parents and guardians


  • Late arrivals and absences must be excused immediately.
    Infectious diseases must be reported immediately. (see instruction for parents and other guardians according to § 34 para. 5 sentence 2 Infection Protection Act).
  • The school car park is exclusively for teachers and school staff.
    Parents wait for their children in front of the school (PARENT WAITING ZONE)
  • Our school and the school grounds are a smoke-free zone.
  • We all want to contribute to good coexistence at our school. We therefore ensure that these rules are understood and adhered to.
